About the role
Corporate Action COE at State Street, a global custodian bank, manages end‑to‑end processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate events across custody, accounting and middle‑office services. The Senior Manager leads a team of managers and staff, optimizes processes, monitors performance KPIs, manages resources and drives risk and quality controls. Mumbai, on‑site, hybrid schedule with flexible work options.
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop a team of managers and staff within operations
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Track KPIs and take corrective actions to improve performance
- Manage resources including people, budget and technology
- Collaborate with executive teams to ensure alignment across the organization
- Ensure high‑quality delivery of corporate action services
- Identify and mitigate operational risks
- Maintain deep knowledge of corporate actions cycle and related regulations
What you’ll bring
- 10-16 years experience in accounting, finance, mutual fund operations or loan servicing
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Economics, finance or related field
