Education Counsellor

About the role

IDP, the global leader in international education services, seeks an Education Counsellor to guide students toward suitable institutions and career paths. The role involves managing student pipelines, providing admissions advice, facilitating enrolments, and driving sales targets through proactive engagement. This position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

What you’ll do

• Guide international students to find institutions matching their aspirations
• Provide information on study opportunities, culture, and local systems
• Assist with application documentation and facilitate enrolments
• Promote IDP products and services to drive pipeline goals
• Manage leads and maintain successful applications
• Participate in event and lead-generating activities
• Maintain database records and ensure customer satisfaction
• Engage regularly with students, families, and education providers

What you’ll bring

• Experience in sales or customer service environments
• Proven ability to achieve individual and team-based targets
• Understanding of education sector and student placement processes
• Knowledge of immigration requirements and processes

Nice to have

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or prior experience as an Education Counsellor
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
