Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

About the role

Twilio seeks a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead indirect procurement for categories like software and professional services. This remote role in India involves developing category strategies, negotiating complex contracts, and managing supplier performance to drive cost savings. What you’ll do

• Develop cost savings strategies and supplier consolidation plans for various categories
• Partner with stakeholders to create sourcing pipelines and supplier strategies
• Lead negotiations for new and existing contracts to achieve lowest total cost of ownership
• Manage supplier performance against negotiated SLAs and KPIs
• Drive RFI/RFP processes and oversee bid-to-contract execution
• Influence internal stakeholders to optimize value, cost, and vendor performance
• Deliver on complex Source-to-Pay (S2P) improvement projects
• Adapt to support additional categories such as HR, legal, and travel

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Operations
• 7+ years’ experience in a senior procurement role
• Experience building and executing category strategies to deliver savings
• Proven track record of negotiating complex buy-side contracts
• Strong analytical and financial capacity for spend data analysis
• Deep knowledge of key contract language and terms (MSAs, DPAs)
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and collaboration
