About the role
Fluke AI/ML team drives enterprise-wide AI strategy, building and scaling Generative AI, LLM and MLOps platforms. The Principal AI-ML Engineer defines architecture, standards and roadmaps, leads complex cross‑functional programs and mentors senior engineers. Bengaluru East, India, hybrid (3 days onsite).
What you’ll do
- Define technical vision, architecture and multi‑year roadmap for enterprise AI
- Architect large‑scale ML and LLM systems and set standards
- Establish best practices for RAG, Agentic AI and model safety
- Lead MLOps/LLMOps platform strategy and implementation
- Drive build‑vs‑buy decisions and evaluate models/vendors
- Mentor senior engineers and grow AI talent
- Partner with senior leadership to shape AI strategy and quantify impact
- Represent AI function in governance forums
What you’ll bring
- 15+ years AI/ML experience
- Expert-level Python and software architecture
- Architected enterprise Generative AI/LLM platforms
- MLOps/LLMOps platform ownership
- Multi‑cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) expertise
- Responsible AI governance experience
