About the role
Johnson Controls' Electrical Engineering team drives commissioning of critical power and control systems for industrial facilities. The Electrical Engineer – Commissioning executes panel and instrumentation commissioning, performs testing, troubleshooting, and prepares handover documentation. Ahmedabad, India, on-site role with potential relocation support.
What you’ll do
- Execute commissioning of electrical, PLC, MCC/PCC panels and instrumentation systems
- Perform loop checking, I/O and functional testing, and troubleshoot control systems
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors, customers and vendors during commissioning
- Review electrical drawings, schematics, GA drawings and cable schedules
- Prepare commissioning reports, punch-point lists and project documentation
- Monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years experience in electrical & instrumentation commissioning
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related field
