About the role

Commissioning Engineer - Electrical at CAI India is a full‑time, on‑site role focused on electrical testing, commissioning, and qualification for data centre projects across India and globally. The engineer will develop and execute electrical test procedures, MOPS, SOO’s, and checklists, perform QA/QC of test procedures and equipment installation, coordinate with vendors, and produce detailed reports. Responsibilities include commissioning tests to validate vendor equipment, supporting design reviews, ensuring safe work practices, and contributing to LEED qualification packages. Candidates must hold a BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering, have 3–8 years of experience in testing and commissioning, excellent communication skills in English, and be willing to travel domestically and internationally. Relocation to client sites is required. The role offers competitive compensation and benefits, with a salary range of ₹4,00,100–₹17,17,000 per year.

  • Responsible for commissioning, safe work practices, facility turnover, and issue resolution
  • Develop and execute commissioning tests to demonstrate vendor equipment is correctly installed and set to work
  • Support enhanced design reviews and consult on submission of LEED qualification packages

What you’ll bring

  • BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering
  • 3 to 8 years experience in testing, commissioning and qualification jobs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally
  • Relocation to Client sites is a prerequisite
