About the role
Workday Integration Developer at Kyndryl is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust integrations between Workday and external systems. The role requires deep expertise in Workday’s integration tools—Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder, and Web Services—alongside strong API skills in REST and SOAP. Candidates will map and transform data using XSLT, JavaScript, or Groovy, ensuring accurate data flow across formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV. They will also handle database interactions, security protocols (OAuth, SAML), and rigorous testing to guarantee reliability. Collaboration with functional consultants, IT teams, and stakeholders is essential for gathering requirements and delivering solutions that meet business needs. The developer will document designs, troubleshoot issues, and manage change to minimize disruptions. Performance monitoring and compliance with data security standards are key responsibilities. What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and maintain Workday integrations.
- Configure integrations using Studio, EIB, WWS.
- Create data mapping and transformation rules.
- Develop RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration.
- Perform comprehensive integration testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Document integration designs and configurations.
- Collaborate with consultants, IT teams, stakeholders.
- Manage change and minimize disruptions.
- Monitor performance and address issues.
- Ensure compliance with security standards.
- Lead backlog prioritization with product management.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years experience with Workday HCM integrations, development, maintenance, support.
- Proficient in Workday Studio, EIB, and WWS integration tools.
- Skilled in integrating Workday with ERP, CRM, and other external systems.
- Experienced with Workday report writer and payroll interfaces PECI & PICOF.
- Knowledgeable in XSLT, JavaScript, Groovy for custom integration scripting.
- Strong RESTful and SOAP API integration expertise.
- Comfortable with XML, JSON, CSV data formats and transformations.
- SQL database skills for data management and querying.
- Familiar with OAuth, SAML security protocols and authentication.
- Adept at troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and change management.
