Workday Integration Developer

About the role

A partner company seeks a Workday Integration Developer in India to design and maintain complex data flows connecting Workday with external systems. The role involves full lifecycle ownership, from architecture and development to deployment and production support, while collaborating with HR, finance, and IT stakeholders. This is a remote position focused on improving integration performance, security, and operational efficiency.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex integrations across the Workday ecosystem
• Build and optimize integrations using Workday Studio and EIB
• Develop inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into secure, scalable solutions
• Configure integration systems ensuring data accuracy, security, and reliability
• Monitor integration performance and investigate production incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve integration challenges
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support procedures

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years of experience in Workday integration development or related technical roles
• Strong hands-on expertise with Workday Studio and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
• Proven experience developing complex integrations within enterprise environments
• Practical experience with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, APIs, web services, and data transformation

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Workday Core Connectors and related integration technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose integration failures
• Experience across the complete integration lifecycle including testing and deployment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
