About the role
Principal Architect AI Data Engineer on EXL's GenAI Centre of Excellence, driving enterprise‑scale AI architecture and data platforms. Leads design of agentic LLM solutions, RAG pipelines, and MLOps frameworks while mentoring architects and influencing AI strategy. Gurugram, India, hybrid work model.
What you’ll do
- Design enterprise‑grade GenAI and agentic architectures
- Define reference frameworks and best practices for LLM applications
- Architect end‑to‑end RAG pipelines and production APIs
- Establish MLOps/LLMOps processes and monitoring
- Build and scale GenAI Centre of Excellence
- Engage with CXOs and stakeholders to drive AI strategy
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance
- Mentor technical teams and guide hiring
What you’ll bring
- 15+ years data engineering/AI experience
- 3+ years LLM/GenAI implementation
- Expert Python and PySpark development
- Azure/AWS/GCP cloud expertise
- LangChain or LangGraph proficiency
- Experience with Snowflake/Databricks
- Strong API design and CI/CD pipelines
- Leadership and mentorship skills
