Education Counsellor

About the role

IDP, the global leader in international education services, seeks an Education Counsellor to guide students toward suitable institutions and career paths. The role involves managing student pipelines, providing admissions advice, facilitating enrolments, and driving sales targets through proactive engagement. This position is based in Jammu, India, with a work model determined by the office location.

What you’ll do

• Guide international students to find suitable institutions
• Provide information on study opportunities and local systems
• Assist with application documentation and facilitate enrolments
• Promote IDP products and services to students
• Drive pipeline goals and customer satisfaction targets
• Manage leads and maintain successful applications
• Participate in event and lead generating activities
• Maintain database records and stakeholder relationships

What you’ll bring

• Experience in sales or customer service environments
• Proven ability to achieve individual and team targets
• Understanding of education sector and student placement
• Knowledge of immigration requirements and processes

Nice to have

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Prior experience as an Education Counsellor or similar role
