Responsibilities include on-time electronic project delivery, coordination of HW/SW/SYS/eLAB/QA/Mechanic teams, budget and planning management, deliverable management, project meetings and design reviews, ensuring Start Of Production and production quality, participation in RAISE design reviews, issue tracking, change request impact analysis, risk monitoring, conflict resolution, documentation integrity, transfer of projects, support to other departments, system consistency between design and validation, reporting project status to R&D PTM and PM, and assignment of R&D tasks in specific domains.
What you’ll do
- Responsible of the on time electronic project delivery, execution, schedule, performance and cost of the project
- Responsible of the coordination of the HW/SW/SYS/eLAB/QA/Mechanic teams to synchronize the deliverables (Change Request (CCB), Bug tracking (Mantis), DR, spec, boards, SW, validation results....)
- To establish and monitor the electronics project budget (external cost, internal resources, investment to realize) and planning (schedules, resource needs and development workload)
- To manage on time the deliverables required by the project manager (PM)
- To perform and facilitate the project meetings and the design reviews and the industrialization reviews on the dedicated developments
- To guarantee the Start Of Production (SOP) and production quality
- To participate to the RAISE design reviews
- To identify and track to closure all the open issues
- To analyse the impact of the new change requests on the project
- To identify and monitor the project risks
- To resolve the conflicts of interests
- To track the technical documentation integrity and quality in accordance with the methodology of development (Constant Innovation Policy – CIP)
- To ensure the transfer (P2 to P1) of the project associated to the standard conformity
- To help, by his skills, other project members of the other departments, of P2/P1/P0 projects and car makers
- To guarantee the system consistencies between design and validation
- Responsible of the reporting of the project status (thru bi-weekly project dashboard reporting) to the R&D PTM and project manager (PM) for the electronic development
- Some R&D development tasks and responsibility (SYST, SW, HW) can be assigned to the eDL in case of a unique project or small work package tasks in his domain of expertise.
