About the role

Electronics Design Engineer at LARSEN & TOUBRO LTD., Bengaluru. Leads system engineering and hardware design for rugged defense platforms, defining architecture, component selection, power and control systems, and ensuring MIL‑STD compliance. Works cross‑functionally with mechanical, optics, firmware, production and quality teams to integrate, test and qualify subsystems. Bengaluru, on‑site, Full-time.

What you’ll do

• Derive and analyze system requirements from SOW and customer specs
• Define overall system architecture, subsystem allocation and ICDs
• Select sensors, optics, processors and electromechanical components
• Design power architecture, budgeting and protection schemes
• Develop and validate control logic for motion and actuator systems
• Lead system integration, debugging and functional validation
• Coordinate PCB, enclosure, thermal and interface design activities
• Collaborate with external partners and internal program teams

What you’ll bring

• 3-5 years experience in electronics design
• Proficiency in system engineering and architecture definition
• Experience with MIL‑STD/EMI‑EMC compliance
• Hands‑on hardware design and PCB development
• Knowledge of power budgeting and distribution for defense platforms
• Ability to lead integration, debugging and qualification testing
• Vendor and partner management for subsystem development
• Cross‑functional collaboration with mechanical, optics and firmware teams
