About the role
Wells Fargo’s Workplace Technology team seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive reliability and automation for global Microsoft 365 services. Based in Bengaluru, India, this full-time role leads SRE practices, incident management, and operational excellence. The position requires technical leadership to enhance service resiliency and observability across enterprise platforms.
What you’ll do
- Lead reliability and operational support for Workplace Technology platforms
- Drive adoption of SRE practices including SLOs and operational metrics
- Lead response and recovery efforts during major incidents
- Champion automation and self-healing capabilities to reduce operational toil
- Build and enhance observability using monitoring and telemetry tools
- Partner with engineering teams on platform modernization and cloud adoption
- Establish operational governance, risk controls, and compliance practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and support teams
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years experience in Systems Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with programming background
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise platforms globally
- Strong background in incident and problem management
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot)
- Experience with Windows Endpoints, Windows 365, Intune, and Endpoint Management
- Knowledge of SLOs, SLIs, and operational KPIs
- Automation experience with PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or CI/CD
