About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services designs, plans, delivers, and operates AWS global infrastructure, ensuring continuous cloud availability. The Data Centre Engineering Operations Engineer owns hands‑on management of mechanical and electrical systems across Amazon Data Services India facilities, handling maintenance, incident response, and vendor coordination while supporting 24x7 operations. Mumbai, MH, IND – on‑site role with rotational shift and weekend support, relocation options available.

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years data centre or mission‑critical facility experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of electrical systems: utility feeds, transformers, UPS, PDUs, generators, SCADA
• Knowledge of mechanical systems: CRAC/CRAH, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, valves
• Asset and inventory management experience
• Develop and maintain SOPs, emergency response procedures
• 24x7 on‑call and rotational shift availability
