About the role

HPE Networking Business Unit builds AI-driven networking solutions for edge-to-cloud enterprises. As a Cloud Software Engineering Manager you will lead a team designing and scaling cloud applications on the Next Generation Central platform, overseeing architecture, development, and delivery. Bengaluru office, on-site work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers delivering cloud networking products
  • Plan and deliver features across multiple projects, managing timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate with product marketing and management to translate requirements into designs
  • Drive process improvements and operational excellence through metrics
  • Manage stakeholder expectations for quality, schedule, and cost

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's or master's in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • 0-2 years of people management experience
  • Experience building scalable cloud applications
  • Proficiency in Python, Golang, Java
  • Hands‑on with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices
  • Experience with SQL (Postgres), NoSQL (Cassandra, Clickhouse), Redis
  • Familiarity with Kafka and RabbitMQ
