About the role

Sidewalk Cloud services team at Ring builds the core cloud backbone for a nationwide IoT connectivity network. The role designs, implements, and scales core services such as authentication, encryption, message routing, and device lifecycle management, while integrating AI-driven monitoring, analytics, and automation tools. Bengaluru, India, on-site work model, with opportunities to influence roadmap and collaborate across AWS IoT, Ring, Echo, and Alexa teams.

What you’ll do

• Manage core Sidewalk network services processing millions of messages daily
• Evaluate design choices, prototype new technologies, and implement solutions
• Define product roadmap and make technical trade‑offs
• Collaborate with ML scientists to design monitoring solutions
• Develop and integrate generative AI tools for debugging, testing, and documentation
• Build AI‑powered support systems for device behavior analysis and automated triage
• Create intelligent automation tools for development workflows
• Design AI‑driven analytics for service health and anomaly detection
• Drive engineering best practices in security, test automation, and operational excellence
• Navigate ambiguity, make data‑driven decisions, and influence cross‑team consensus

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years professional software development experience
• 2+ years design or architecture experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
