Senior Associate II, Scientific Education

About the role

Alcon Scientific Education team drives adoption of Phaco cataract surgery across India. The role trains surgeons and hospital staff, conducts on‑site assessments, wet‑lab and OR instruction, and supports product demonstrations to improve conversion rates. Based in Aurangabad, on‑site work with up to 70% travel, hybrid schedule as field demands.

What you’ll do

• Assess and select target trainees and hospitals for Phaco conversion
• Provide on‑site OR and wet‑lab instruction to convert ECCE/SICS to Phaco
• Demonstrate and coach use of Alcon products and surgical techniques
• Support training events, congresses, and symposiums
• Document assessments, case outcomes, and compliance reports
• Handle adverse events and product complaints locally

What you’ll bring

• Science Bachelor Degree or Diploma
• Medical specialty training (Surgical/Medical Technologist)
• 1+ year sales or marketing experience in medical device field
• Proficient in English

Nice to have

• 2+ years clinical application, marketing, and sales experience preferred
• Biomedical Engineering or Medical Technology background preferred
