About the role

Ingram Micro seeks a Specialist - Presales to support its Red Hat portfolio distribution business, focusing on OpenShift and Virtualization. The role involves providing technical pre-sales support, delivering demos, and engaging with partners and customers in Bangalore. This is a full-time position requiring local travel for customer engagements.

What you’ll do

• Provide technical pre-sales support for Red Hat portfolio including OpenShift and RHEL
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs to partners and customers
• Assist partners in solution design, sizing, and architecture discussions
• Participate in Distribution Managed Partner Round Tables and Customer Round Tables
• Act as technical point of contact for partner queries, POCs, and validations
• Conduct partner enablement sessions and technical trainings
• Create and maintain technical documentation and demo materials
• Collaborate with Red Hat vendor teams and internal sales stakeholders

What you’ll bring

• 1–3 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Technical Support, or Product Specialist roles
• Good working knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift Virtualization
• Understanding of Linux fundamentals (RHEL preferred)
• Knowledge of Containers, Kubernetes basics, and virtualization concepts
• Strong presentation and communication skills

Nice to have

• Exposure to Red Hat certifications (RHCSA / OpenShift-related)
• Experience in Distributor, System Integrator, or Partner ecosystem
• Hands-on exposure to POCs, demos, or lab environments
