About the role
Embedded Test Engineering team at Mphasis focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded firmware products. The Senior Software Engineer, Systems develops master test plans, creates automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python, and executes integration and system-level tests across hardware generations. Bangalore office, on-site work model, coordination with multiple ODM groups and validation teams is required.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain comprehensive master test plans
- Define and automate test cases for firmware features
- Execute API and security tests for management interfaces
- Manage defect workflows and re-test cycles
- Support validation team with documentation and test results
What you’ll bring
- 4-6 years embedded firmware test engineering
- Proficiency with Robot Framework and Python for test automation
- Experience testing BMC/firmware APIs such as Redfish and IPMI 2.0
- Strong security testing skills including TLS certificate management
- Ability to coordinate testing across multiple ODM and customer validation teams
