About the role

The Assistant Manager – Investment Accounting – Investment Operations role at EXL focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation within the insurance sector. The incumbent will prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries, oversee income statement and balance sheet reconciliations, and conduct variance and aging analyses. They will collaborate with internal and external auditors, manage data requests, and act as escalation point for operational issues. Strong knowledge of GAAP, insurance industry regulations, and experience with Oracle and MS Office are essential. The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in accounting or finance, at least six years of relevant experience, and proficiency in advanced Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are critical. The position is hybrid, based in Noida, India, and offers a full‑time employment structure.
