About the role

Senior Software Engineer Java – ETL, AVP responsible for designing, building, and evolving cloud‑native data integration services on Azure, including microservices and serverless patterns. Requires 12+ years of software engineering, strong Java (Spring) and SQL skills, experience with Azure Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, and event‑driven architectures. Must support existing Java/Pentaho Kettle and Talend frameworks, perform code reviews, unit and integration testing, and mentor junior engineers. Works 4 days a week onsite in Hyderabad.

• Design and develop cloud‑native data integration services
• Implement APIs for batch, near‑real‑time, and event‑driven ingestion
• Collaborate with architects and product managers
• Perform code reviews and unit/integration testing
• Troubleshoot distributed production systems
• Support Java/Pentaho Kettle and Talend frameworks
• Mentor junior engineers
• Maintain technical documentation
