About the role
Branch Banking at Axis Bank drives retail customer engagement and deposit mobilization. The Branch Relationship Head leads a team of 5-7 Relationship Managers, overseeing portfolio growth, cross‑sell initiatives, and customer experience across ETB and NTB segments. Based in Bhopal, on‑site role with direct collaboration with Branch Heads, Cluster Heads, and product teams.
What you’ll do
- Manage and mentor a team of 5‑7 RMs to achieve liability and fee growth
- Monitor portfolio performance and drive cross‑sell initiatives
- Conduct supervisory reviews and joint customer calls
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with Branch, Cluster, and product teams to design action plans
- Recruit, train, and certify RMs
- Develop strategies for NTB acquisition and referral pipelines
What you’ll bring
- Post‑grad degree required
- 7‑10 years banking experience
- Leadership experience managing Relationship Managers
Nice to have
- Knowledge of banking sector and products
- NRI product and regulatory knowledge
- Strong sales and influencing skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
