About the role
Atomgrid seeks an R&D Associate in Analytical Chemistry to perform advanced testing on surfactants and emulsifiers, support process validation, and maintain GLP‑compliant records. The role requires 1–3 years of lab experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with GC, HPLC, FTIR, and UV‑Vis instruments.
What you’ll do
- Conduct routine and advanced analytical testing on surfactant and emulsifier samples
- Evaluate parameters like cloud point, saponification value, color, pH, viscosity, moisture
- Support process validation and scale‑up across lab → pilot → plant stages
- Maintain accurate test records and prepare reports, data sheets, compliance documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to GLP and safety protocols
- Collaborate with process chemists and other teams for troubleshooting and optimization
What you’ll bring
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Organic Chemistry
- 1–3 years lab experience in surfactants/emulsifiers testing
- Hands‑on knowledge of cloud point, acid value, viscosity tests
- Familiarity with GC, HPLC, FTIR, UV‑Vis instruments
Nice to have
Experience in QC/QA or analytical labs in chemical plants
