About the role
AWS Supply Chain team builds end-to-end automation for AWS global infrastructure supply chain. The Software Development Manager leads a cross‑functional group of software, hardware and network engineers, guiding design, development, testing and deployment of highly scalable distributed systems. Bengaluru, on-site, hybrid flexibility with relocation support available.
What you’ll do
- Guide team through design, development, testing and deployment of supply chain automation products
- Build roadmaps and innovate customer experiences for software teams
- Architect and implement highly scalable distributed systems with availability and latency guarantees
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship in a fast‑moving startup‑like environment within a large company
- Collaborate across AWS to ensure safety, security and cost‑effective capacity
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years engineering team management
- 7+ years engineering experience
- 8+ years leading multi‑tier web services development
- Knowledge of full software/hardware/network lifecycle practices
- Experience partnering with product or program management
- Strong communication with users and senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
