Senior Analyst - Invoice to Cash (DTC)

About the role

Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Senior Analyst - Invoice to Cash (DTC) for its GLBL ITC Transformation - Global Finance Services Division. The role manages daily billing operations, invoice generation, and subscription-based invoicing while investigating variances, leading governance discussions with Business Units and legal entities, and supporting SAP (Mach 1) implementation projects. Based in the Whitefield Office in Bangalore, Karnataka, the position requires a 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM or US Shift and flexibility to support global operations across time zones.

What you’ll do

• Manage daily billing operations and invoice generation activities
• Investigate and resolve billing variances and exceptions
• Lead governance discussions with Business Units (BUs) and legal entities
• Coordinate review meetings and advise on potential areas of concern
• Collaborate with audit partners and service providers on all audit requirements
• Support Mach 1 (SAP) implementation and enhancement projects
• Create reports on financial performance and provide insightful analysis for internal and external use
• Coordinate the design and transformation of optimized processes to achieve operational excellence

What you’ll bring

• Overall experience of 10-14 years with at least 10 years of experience in Billing
• College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
• Proficient knowledge of end-to-end Invoice to Cash processes, preferably with exposure to other ITC processes
• Experience handling subscription-based billing in addition to miscellaneous invoicing
• Experience on ERP and tools like SAP, Salesforce, and Power BI
• Proficient with Excel, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools for data sharing and reporting
• Flexible to support global operations and willing to work in different time zones based on requirement
• Good written and verbal communications skills
