About the role

We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst to transform financial data into actionable insights, leading regulatory reporting and driving AI‑driven enhancements. The role involves designing and automating BI dashboards, managing RBI and statutory reports, optimizing complex SQL queries, and collaborating across finance, risk, compliance, and technology teams. Candidates should bring 4–6 years of BI experience in financial services, advanced SQL and BI tool proficiency, and a strong grasp of ETL, data modeling, and cloud platforms. Experience with Databricks, Python, Spark, and AI/ML for reporting automation is highly valued. The position is full‑time, based in Bengaluru, and offers the chance to shape enterprise BI and regulatory frameworks.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and automate BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
  • Own and manage RBI, statutory, and compliance reports.
  • Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries across large datasets.
  • Partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and auditability of financial data.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML and automation for reporting.
  • Drive initiatives to modernize the BI landscape and adopt new tools.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, Stats, Finance, or related field.
  • 4–6 years BI/Data Analytics experience in NBFCs or Financial Services.
  • Advanced SQL skills for complex query writing, tuning, and debugging.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik for dashboard creation.
  • Strong ETL, data modeling, and data warehousing knowledge.
  • Experience with Python, Spark for data analysis or automation.
  • Hands‑on with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud data platforms.
  • Prior work on Databricks (Delta Lake, PySpark, notebooks, workflows).

Nice to have

  • Experience in Databricks ecosystem for BI and data engineering workflows.
  • Understanding of data privacy and governance standards in financial systems.
