Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Network Architecture & Engineering team at Wells Fargo designs, deploys and maintains secure LAN, WAN, WLAN and campus networks for a global enterprise. The Senior Network Engineer leads implementation of network security policies, manages production networks and performs proactive testing and capacity remediation. Hyderabad, hybrid work schedule with occasional on‑call duties.

What you’ll do

• Lead implementation of network security policies across routers and firewalls
• Manage production networks including IP backbone, data centers and edge POPs
• Perform quarterly proactive network testing and capacity issue remediation
• Develop and deliver change management plans and documentation
• Mentor and train network operations team
• Partner with Product Infrastructure teams to improve standards and policies

What you’ll bring

4+ years Network Engineering experience

Nice to have

• 4+ years configuring Cisco Nexus/Arista and SD‑WAN solutions
• 4+ years designing LAN/WAN/Data‑center solutions
• 4+ years with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP routing protocols
• CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE certification preferred
• Experience with Python, Ansible and GitHub

Skills
