Lead ServiceNow Engineer

About the role

Ecolab seeks a Lead ServiceNow Engineer to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations. The role requires deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration tools such as MID Server and IntegrationHub. The engineer will customize applications using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer, build and support integrations, perform unit testing and debugging, and support platform upgrades and releases. Collaboration with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders is essential, following SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and change management processes. Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills are required. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Bangalore, India, and expects 7+ years of ServiceNow experience with relevant certifications.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years ServiceNow development experience
• Strong JavaScript, REST/SOAP integration skills
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture
• Experience with Finance Management and MCO modules
• Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, ITSM
