Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Ericsson is hiring a Senior Network Engineer in Pune, Maharashtra, India, to join its global professional team working on telecom network analysis, auditing, design, and optimization across RAN, Transport, Core, OM, and Services Networks. Day-to-day work includes RF optimization and NPI support, LTE/NR performance tuning, OSS KPI analysis, network audits and discrepancy clearance, and feature testing/trial execution with rollout validation. The role requires onsite presence in a secure room setup and offers flexibility for shift timing based on project needs.

What you’ll do

• Analysis, auditing, design, and optimization of telecom networks across RAN, Transport, Core, OM, and Services Networks
• RF optimization and NPI support
• LTE & NR (SA/NSA) optimization contexts including VoLTE/VoNR
• KPI analysis and improvement recommendations for RAN performance
• Network audits and discrepancy clearance vs customer baseline
• Feature study, MOP preparation, field trial support, massification support, and rollout validation support acceptance/validation reporting
• Fine-tune RAN parameters for performance and improve throughput, layer management, and mobility management
• Automation development/ideation (Python-based) and data modelling/management

What you’ll bring

• Strong domain experience in RF optimization / NPI support
• LTE & NR (SA/NSA) understanding; exposure to VoLTE/VoNR optimization contexts
• KPI analysis and improvement recommendations for RAN performance
• Hands-on NPI conformance: network audits and discrepancy clearance vs customer baseline
• Feature testing / trial execution exposure: feature study, MOP preparation, field trial support, massification support, and rollout validation support acceptance/validation reporting
• Ericsson RAN 4G/5G optimization exposure; ability to fine-tune parameters for performance
• In-depth OSS KPI tuning knowledge
• Strong technical knowledge on RAN
