Goldman Sachs seeks a Data Engineer Analyst to join its Client Data Engineering team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building and maintaining the Legend data platform, ensuring clean, governed data for risk management and client support functions. Candidates will design modern data tools, contribute to open-source projects, and collaborate with business stakeholders to model and curate critical data sets. The position requires strong SQL, domain‑driven design, data quality, and Agile experience, along with excellent communication and analytical skills. What you’ll do

• Design and develop modern data management tools

What you’ll bring

• 1+ years of team-based data engineering experience
• Deep knowledge of relational/columnar SQL databases
• Experience with domain-driven design for complex apps
• Strong data curation, quality, and multidimensionality skills
• Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban) comfortable
• Understanding of business processes and data flows
• Excellent communication with subject matter experts
