About the role

Engineering team at Netskope builds a high‑performance C++ client runtime that secures and accelerates data across user devices. The Senior Staff Endpoint Client Engineer designs, implements, and hardens a multi‑threaded, cross‑platform (macOS, Windows) client, ensuring reliability, observability, and performance at scale while collaborating with ML and backend engineers. Bengaluru, India, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Own and evolve the C++ client runtime for performance, security, and resilience
• Architect distributed systems for fault tolerance and graceful degradation
• Build secure agentic harnesses and integrate ML inference paths
• Ensure reliability, observability, and performance across varied hardware
• Set patterns and standards for the endpoint codebase

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years industry experience
• 6+ years production C++ (C++11+)
• Solid distributed systems fundamentals
• Deep endpoint/client software experience
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, performance profiling
• Fluency with agentic coding systems
• Strong verbal and written communication

Nice to have

• BS Computer Science or equivalent required
• MS Computer Science strongly preferred
