About the role

Renesas Electronics Power Business Unit seeks a Senior Manager to lead and scale the SW QA organization for its Digital Power IC development team in Bengaluru. The role involves providing strategic, operational, and technical leadership to ensure robust test automation and scalability across multiple product lines. This is a remote position focused on delivering high-quality software solutions for datacenter operators and infrastructure hardware developers.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, scale, and inspire SW QA teams fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Define quality KPIs and an automation roadmap leveraging testing frameworks and AI.
  • Oversee resource planning, hiring, and management of HW assets for SW/system testing.
  • Develop and execute a quality strategy driving measurable improvement in software reliability.
  • Partner closely with product definition, applications, and field teams to deliver best-of-kind software.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  • 14+ years’ experience in Software Test Design.
  • Minimum of 5 years as a manager.

Nice to have

  • Deep expertise with Squish, Selenium, or similar test automation frameworks.
  • Technical expertise in Python, Java, or other modern object-oriented languages.
  • Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Proven track record of scaling QA teams and balancing manual/automated testing.
  • Highly developed written and verbal cross-functional communication skills.
  • Familiarity with electronics is highly desired.
