About the role
UK GCC Highways team at WSP drives high‑quality delivery of UK highway design projects in India. The Associate Technical Director leads end‑to‑end project delivery, provides technical expertise, and mentors a team of up to 15 engineers while managing stakeholder relationships. Bengaluru base with hybrid collaboration across Mumbai and Noida offices, on‑site work required.
What you’ll do
- Lead delivery of UK highway design projects ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality
- Act as technical specialist applying advanced engineering principles
- Drive innovation in design methodologies and digital tools
- Manage multiple projects and allocate resources efficiently
- Ensure compliance with QA, CDM, sustainability, and HSE standards
- Liaise with UK stakeholders, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers
- Support discipline leadership in resource planning and Lean initiatives
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years UK highway design
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MX, PDS/Keyline, AutoCAD
- Team leadership and stakeholder management
- Project and resource management
- Technical report and specification production
- Knowledge of UK design standards
