IT Hardware Asset Management Specialist

About the role

KBR Mission Technology Solutions business seeks an IT Hardware Asset Management Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of enterprise IT hardware assets. The role ensures accurate inventory, coordinates deployments and disposals, and supports audit readiness across IT Operations, Service Desk, Procurement, Finance and Security. Chennai, India, on-site, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Manage hardware asset lifecycle including procurement, deployment, maintenance, recovery and disposal
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and data integrity in management systems
• Perform inventory audits, reconciliations and compliance tracking
• Coordinate hardware deployments, refresh programs and employee asset assignments
• Partner with Procurement and vendors for purchasing, repairs and warranty management
• Support onboarding/offboarding asset processes and secure disposal
• Generate inventory, lifecycle and compliance reports for audits
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years IT Asset Management experience
• Experience with ServiceNow, Intune, SCCM/MECM, Lansweeper or Flexera
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
