Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

About the role

This Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing role supports a partner company's global procurement strategy from India. The position focuses on shaping sourcing programs for indirect spend categories like software and professional services while leading complex negotiations and transformation initiatives. This is a remote-based leadership position requiring strong stakeholder management and analytical skills.

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute cost-saving strategies across indirect procurement categories
• Build category strategies and sourcing pipelines by partnering with stakeholders
• Lead complex contract negotiations and supplier renegotiations
• Manage supplier selection, qualification, consolidation, and performance improvement
• Lead RFI and RFP processes through proposal evaluation and contracting
• Establish and monitor supplier KPIs, scorecards, and Quarterly Business Reviews
• Advise internal stakeholders to optimize cost, value, risk, and supplier performance
• Lead Source-to-Pay and other procurement improvement initiatives

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in senior procurement or strategic sourcing roles
• Proven success negotiating complex, high-value buy-side contracts
• Strong analytical capabilities including spend analysis and financial modeling
• Deep knowledge of procurement methodologies such as category management and RFX processes
• Experience structuring varied commercial models and contractual terms

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with Oracle and Ironclad platforms
