About the role
GPU Virtualization team at NVIDIA builds next‑generation graphics and computing features for NVIDIA GPUs. The Senior System Software Engineer designs, develops, optimizes, debugs, unit tests, documents and maintains GPU hardware and software across user and kernel stacks, resolves customer issues, and collaborates with internal teams and partners. Pune, India, onsite.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, optimize, debug, unit test, document and maintain GPU features
- Work across user and kernel stacks
- Resolve customer issues and provide root cause analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams (software, hardware, architecture, QA, OEM support) and partners
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years industry experience
- BS degree or higher
- Proficient in C/C++
- Experience with Windows/Linux device drivers
- Strong debugging skills with gdb/kgdb/windbg
- Understanding of virtualization concepts (ESX, Hyper‑V, KVM)
- Knowledge of DX/OGL graphics technologies
- Familiarity with PC architecture
Nice to have
