About the role
Sales & Commercial – Lucknow team at DSV drives growth across air, sea, customs and insurance logistics. The Senior Associate/Assistant Manager leads prospect development, manages sales visits, negotiates deals and ensures SOPs and credit processes are executed. Kanpur, UP, IN, on-site, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Develop prospect business in assigned trade lanes
- Conduct 60 sales visits and 5 joint visits per month
- Negotiate and close deals for air/sea freight and customs services
- Prepare and implement SOPs with internal stakeholders
- Report sales activity in CRM and maintain pipeline
- Collect payments and manage customer credit verification
- Collaborate with Territory Sales Manager on KPI achievement
- Perform market surveys and monitor competition
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years experience
- Graduate or MBA degree
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Experience gathering and analyzing market data
- Worked in an international company within a matrix organization
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics)
