About the role

Data Platform team at Warner Bros. Discovery powers data-driven experiences across Max, Discovery+, Sports, Studios, and News. The Senior Data Scientist designs, builds, and deploys machine learning models and end‑to‑end ML workflows, collaborates with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions. Hyderabad, hybrid work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and deploy ML models at scale
• Build recommendation, personalization, predictive, NLP, and Generative AI solutions
• Create end‑to‑end ML workflows: data prep, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, monitoring
• Apply advanced techniques: deep learning, causal inference, reinforcement learning, multi‑armed bandits
• Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, product managers, and business teams
• Conduct experiments, A/B testing, statistical analysis, and model evaluation
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools to improve productivity

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years building data science models
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Data Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Engineering
• Proficient in Python, R, or Scala
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn, XGBoost, Spark ML
• Strong knowledge of regression, classification, time‑series, recommendation, NLP, LLMs
• Hands‑on MLOps and production ML pipelines
• Experience with large‑scale datasets and distributed computing
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration
