About the role
Oliver Wyman’s Data and Analytics (DNA) team seeks a Senior Data Scientist to partner with global clients, design and deploy scalable analytics solutions, and lead the development of proprietary ML techniques. The role blends deep technical expertise with strategic consulting, requiring strong communication, presentation skills, and a passion for solving complex business problems using data. Candidates will work closely with consulting teams, craft proposals, advocate best practices, and travel worldwide to deliver insights that drive measurable impact.
What you’ll do
- Work with consulting teams and global clients
- Explore large‑scale data and craft models
- Shape proposals showcasing data science capabilities
- Explain and refine model insights to stakeholders
- Advocate best practices in modeling and code hygiene
- Lead development of proprietary statistical techniques and ML algorithms
- Travel to client locations worldwide as needed
- Stay updated on emerging techniques
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's or Master's in quantitative discipline
- Prior data science, ML, analytics experience
