About the role

Iris Software seeks a Senior Engineer in Gurugram to design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The role involves defining API contracts, optimizing performance, and mentoring junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams. What you’ll do

  • Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Core Java and Microservices architecture.
  • Define API contracts, service boundaries, and integration strategies for distributed systems.
  • Develop reusable backend components following clean architecture and secure coding practices.
  • Optimize application performance through caching, asynchronous processing, and JVM optimization.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of assigned modules including design, development, and deployment readiness.
  • Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices.
  • Design event-driven architectures and asynchronous communication mechanisms for scalability.
  • Mentor junior developers on coding standards, debugging techniques, and modern Java practices.
