QA Automation Associate Manager

About the role

Iris Software seeks an Associate Manager of QA Automation in Noida, India, to own enterprise-level automation testing strategy and roadmap aligned with quality engineering goals. The role leads multiple QA teams, drives adoption of automation frameworks, establishes governance and coding standards, designs CI/CD execution in GitLab, and defines quality KPIs and dashboards. It also involves mentoring QA engineers, managing automation risks, and supporting defect triage and RCA.

What you’ll do

• Define and own enterprise-level automation testing strategy and roadmap aligned with engagement objectives and quality engineering goals.
• Drive adoption of advanced automation tools, frameworks, and best practices across projects.
• Establish governance models, architecture, standards, reusable components, coding conventions, and automation guidelines across teams.
• Lead multiple QA teams to deliver high-quality automated testing solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for complex automation scenarios including API auth, asynchronous flows, data setup/teardown, and cross-system validations.
• Design CI/CD execution approach for automated suites in GitLab and guide implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define automation KPIs, dashboards, and quality metrics, and establish Jira/X-Ray integration patterns.
• Review and assure quality of automation code via standards enforcement, code reviews, and mentoring of QA engineers.
