What you’ll do
- Define and implement automation strategy across UI, API, data, integration
- Design scalable, reusable automation frameworks
- Establish automation standards, best practices, governance
- Lead end-to-end automation implementation across client engagements
- Identify automation candidates, prioritize regression coverage
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
- Drive parallel execution, performance optimization, test suite stability
- Build reusable accelerators, libraries, utilities
- Contribute to QA frameworks and toolkits organization-wide
- Develop solutions for test data management, orchestration, reporting
- Mentor junior automation engineers, conduct code reviews
- Enforce automation best practices, promote engineering excellence
- Collaborate with clients, developers, DevOps, product teams
- Translate business requirements into automation solutions
- Provide updates, insights, recommendations to stakeholders
- Act as trusted advisor on quality engineering and automation
- Integrate frameworks with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
- Implement quality gates, continuous testing practices
- Enable shift-left and shift-right testing strategies
- Drive adoption of AI/GenAI in test automation
- Generate test cases, self-healing automation, intelligent test selection
- Explore and implement Playwright, Cypress, Selenium
What you’ll bring
- 10+ yrs experience in UI/API test automation frameworks
- Proficient with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Rest Assured, Requests
- Strong Java/JavaScript/Python programming skills
- CI/CD pipeline and DevOps expertise with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
- AWS cloud services experience (Compute, storage, serverless)
- Containerization skills with Docker, Kubernetes
- Leadership: team mentoring, stakeholder communication, automation transformation
Nice to have
Experience in data testing/ETL, AI-driven testing, microservices, cloud
