About the role

Data Platform Architecture team at Quantiphi builds enterprise‑scale AWS data platforms and Lakehouse solutions. The Associate Technical Architect leads design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines, Spark/PySpark workloads, and Apache Iceberg architectures while mentoring engineers and collaborating with stakeholders. Based in Mumbai or Bengaluru with on‑site work model, the role offers opportunities to shape cutting‑edge data infrastructure.

What you’ll do

• Define end‑to‑end data platform architecture and technology stack
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and Lakehouse solutions
• Perform performance tuning for Spark, Iceberg, and Aurora PostgreSQL
• Guide and mentor engineering teams on best practices
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements
• Ensure security, scalability, and cost efficiency of data solutions
• Conduct architecture and code reviews
• Drive adoption of AWS data services and automation

What you’ll bring

• 7-12 years designing enterprise data lake/warehouse solutions on AWS
• Hands‑on SQL, Spark/PySpark, Python
• Experience with Apache Iceberg and Lakehouse architectures
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: EMR, S3, Athena, Glue, Aurora PostgreSQL, Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, IAM
• Designing batch and streaming pipelines using AWS native services
• Performance tuning Spark/PySpark and Apache Iceberg
• Architecting scalable, secure, cost‑optimized data platforms
• Leading distributed engineering teams and conducting architecture reviews
