About the role

Persistent Disk team provides the mission-critical block storage foundation for Google Cloud, managing exabytes of data for users and enterprises. As a Software Engineering Manager II you will lead engineers across multiple teams, set technical roadmaps, and guide system designs for high-performance storage clients on virtualized and bare‑metal environments. Bengaluru, India, on-site, with responsibility for team performance, mentorship, and cross‑team alignment.

• Develop technical roadmap and guide system designs for storage clients
• Review code and ensure best practices across the team
• Provide performance feedback, coaching, and career development for engineers
