Lead Support Engineer – D365 Finance & Operations

About the role
Zones ERP Support Team ensures the stability and continuous improvement of D365 Finance & Operations for enterprise clients, focusing on advanced warehouse management. The Lead Support Engineer drives L3/L4 production support, root cause analysis, X++ customizations, and integration troubleshooting, collaborating with business users, developers, and DevOps. Based in Noida, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, India with on-site work model, the role also leads junior engineers and contributes to operational excellence initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Provide L3/L4 support for Finance, Inventory, and WMS modules
- Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis
- Develop and review X++ customizations and hotfixes
- Support integrations using OData, REST, and WCF/AIF
- Monitor batch jobs and system health across environments
- Coordinate deployments with DevOps and ensure release readiness
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
- Mentor junior support engineers
