About the role
ShipBob India People Strategy & Operations team drives HR strategy and operational excellence for the India workforce. The Senior People Generalist executes HRIS administration, compliance, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and employee experience, leveraging AI tools to streamline processes. Remote, India, remote work model, shift 3:00PM‑12:00AM IST.
What you’ll do
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee data
- Process employment letters, compensation changes, and statutory filings
- Administer benefits, vouchers, and reward programs
- Own audit readiness and compliance documentation
- Facilitate new hire orientation and offboarding processes
- Support HRBPs with performance management and employee relations
- Develop and deliver training content as needed
- Leverage AI tools to automate reporting and workflow tasks
What you’ll bring
- 5-7 years HR/People Operations experience
- Hands‑on HRIS (ADP or equivalent)
- Knowledge of India compliance (Provident Fund, POSH, Labour codes)
- Bachelor's or master's in Business Administration, HR or related field
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and confidentiality
- Proactive problem‑solving and detail‑orientation
