About the role

The Senior Operations Specialist – Liability Operations role within Retail Liability Operations manages customer request processing and operational activities in Thane, Maharashtra. This position ensures smooth transaction execution, drives process enhancement through automation, and serves as a subject matter expert for complex service requests. The incumbent leads teams, mentors staff, and coordinates with internal stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

What you’ll do

• Oversee operational activities including transaction processing, account management, reconciliations, and customer service.
• Ensure efficient and compliant delivery of banking services in line with regulatory standards.
• Supervise, train, and mentor operational staff to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including digitization and automation initiatives.
• Liaise with Risk, Compliance, IT, and Product departments for operational alignment.
• Act as a Level 3 or Super Checker for financial and critical transactions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for specialized processes and digital initiatives.
• Manage specialized activities such as testing and transaction monitoring.

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in retail liability operations or similar functions.
• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
• Strong understanding of banking operations and service request management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and mentor staff.
