About the role

Internal Audit team at AXIS BANK LTD. leads the Cyber Security & Information Security Audit function, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. The role plans audits, develops risk matrices, reviews cloud security architectures, and leads remediation of security anomalies. Based in Mumbai with on-site work model, reporting to the Vertical Lead.

What you’ll do

• Plan and execute cyber security audits, develop risk/control matrices and audit programs
• Communicate findings and recommendations to IT stakeholders and senior management
• Review and design security architectures for cloud and hybrid environments
• Lead troubleshooting of cloud security issues, detect anomalies, and perform root cause analysis

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
• 15+ years experience in IT/Cyber security, internal or statutory audit, risk management, or regulatory compliance in financial services
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud assessments and implementations
• Expertise in cloud network and security design, including SIEM, DAM, and privileged identity management
