About the role

BIM Modeller / Engineer on PTD-Power Transmission & Distribution at Larsen & Toubro Ltd, responsible for generating high‑quality 3D models using Autodesk Revit and related BIM software, creating detailed AutoCAD drawings, implementing automation with Dynamo, and ensuring clash detection and quality assurance via Navisworks. Works with multidisciplinary engineering teams to manage BIM deliverables in Autodesk BIM 360/Construction Cloud, adhering to BIM Execution Plans and coordinating changes in scope. Chennai, on‑site, relocation assistance not mentioned.

What you’ll do

• Generate and maintain 3D BIM models for substations and infrastructure projects
• Create detailed 2D drawings and BIM documentation
• Implement automation scripts using Dynamo
• Conduct clash detection and quality assurance using Navisworks
• Coordinate BIM deliverables in a Common Data Environment
• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans and project standards
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support interdisciplinary teams
• Perform rendering and visualization using Lumion or similar tools

What you’ll bring

• 2-10 years BIM modelling experience
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
• AutoCAD 2D/3D expertise
• Dynamo scripting in Revit
• Experience with BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Clash detection and coordination workflows
• Quantity take‑off and 4D/5D BIM concepts
• Point cloud integration and IFC workflows
