BIM Modeller, Public Health Engineering

About the role

Public Health Engineering BIM Team at Larsen & Toubro focuses on delivering coordinated, constructible BIM solutions for water supply, sanitary and drainage systems. The BIM Modeller creates and manages detailed Revit and Civil 3D models, conducts clash detection, and supports interdisciplinary coordination across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines. Based in Chennai, on-site work model, with occasional site coordination and training responsibilities.

What you’ll do

• Prepare BIM models and drawings for water supply, sanitary and drainage systems
• Create and maintain Revit families and BIM libraries for PHE components
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical and civil teams
• Review vendor/shop drawings and convert them into accurate BIM models
• Participate in BIM Execution Plan preparation and implementation
• Conduct BIM software training and mentor junior modelers

What you’ll bring

• 5-8 years of PHE BIM modelling experience
• Proficiency in Revit (PHE), AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, Civil 3D
• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Civil or Public Health Engineering
• Strong understanding of PHE systems, codes and construction practices
• Experience in interdisciplinary coordination and clash resolution
